- In this job, you will work with the Senior Data Engineer to serve as the technical experts within the Business Intelligence to support firm-wide reporting needs .
- An ideal candidate is adept at integrating and wrangling large datasets in preparation for reporting and modeling . Experience in interpreting business needs into technical requirements that will translate into robust data designs will serve as a foundation to create intuitive and user-friendly dashboards and analysis.
- Experience in data science is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities- Design and maintain Magic Extract Transform Load and MySQL dataflows for sustainability and efficiency to support firm-wide reporting needs from various departments and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain R/Python scripts to support group management, user account management, and task automation.
- Build and maintain intuitive DOMO dashboards based on Business Intelligence best practices
- Identify and interpret trends in complex data sets.
- Validation of new reports and quality control of existing reports to ensure accuracy
- Retrofit outdated/cumbersome existing reports
Required Qualifications- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, or related field.
- 0-1 years professions experience working in an analytically focused role.
- Freshers
- Capable in scripting with R , Python programming languages
- Experience working with mainstream Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, or PowerBI
- Experience working with database administration tools such as SQL and ETL
- Advanced Excel knowledge required.
- Hands-on experience working with relational databases to derive insights and make recommendations
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skill
